Well, this was the reply I got when I asked:
 
“I mostly base this on characters personalities from both shows and this is suppose to be them prepering for shooting for an episode, hence Starlight is painting DD black (in original series, Jeff was white, and new actor is black, and DD is also a bit unsure about Starlight doing painting job on his cutie mark), Cheese is new Sammy Jo (since that was a woman) and Spoiled Rich is in vail, since in originalshe had a hat like this in her original debut scene. But I do ship Filthy Rich and Rarity. Jeff (here DD) was lover and later husband of Fallon (Trixie) and Steven (pokey) and Sammy Jo (Cheese) are a couple (they get married in original, but I don’t know if they will get married in 2017 version).
 
And also, let’s all pray that new Fallon will be abducted by aliens too. Best plot twist ever!”

Ah, yes, he is married. Perhaps he is just an actor, or this picture is a FilTr-ix shipping picture.

I uploaded this picture because of Double Diamond and the hilarity of them as bumbling nobles, so I was waiting for those silly tags … ||oh, what have I done? || snickers
