There were plans to bring Galactus back in a future movie in his more humanoid form, but because of the fan flack over him in “Fantastic Four 2” they decided not to go through with that.

I hadn’t realized before, but besides X-Men, FF, and Deadpool, Fox technically also owns distribution rights to Skrulls, Surfer, Galactus, Doom, and likely numberous other connected IPs. Meaning no Galactus, no Kree and Skrull war, and no Power Cosmic in the MCU. Which is why a bunch of shit is missing from both MvCI and LEGO Marvel 2. :L
