Description
Inspired by PitterPaint’s open species Dony. I wasted the past weekend doing my own Diamond Dog/Pony hybrid. (I want another Diamond Dog episode even if my faith in the show’s writing has gone down recently)
When I first started my Next Gen journey. Believe it or not I was going to pair Rarity up with a D Dog. Not Rover, but a slightly more civilized chap. So she would end up in a Beauty and the Beast type scenario. But I had way too much trouble designing this OC’s personality and looks so I gave up on that. But I haven’t given up on the idea of having such a hybrid in my Next Gen, so these two might show up again. As of now I don’t have official names for them. On the right is a boy I’ll either name “Pick” (Like the pick you use to play a guitar or harp. Or like “pickaxe”) or “Iggy” (Similar to Ziggy Stardust or Iggy Pop)
And I’ve been calling the girl on the left, Nike. (Like the goddess of victory). I like Greek names.
I call them gremlins jokingly. They’re strange looking creatures who don’t belong anywhere. If any pony were to see these guys they wouldn’t really understand what they’re looking at. Is Nike a weird looking minotaur? Why does Iggy have a horn on his nose? They also have a knack for taking things apart and (hopefully) putting them back together.
