I got sucked in via YTPs.

While I didn’t think they were dumb, I didn’t really understand the sudden and immense fascination with them a few years ago.
 
That being said, I still don’t understand it. Why are ponies so damn awesome? I feel weird even saying that. Is it the show? The art style? The fan content?
 
I wonder if in-depth psychological studies have been conducted about stuff like this…

I thought it was stupid at first. Made jokes about Spawn beating up the ponies. Watched a few episodes again, and here I am.

Honestly I thought it was just a silly fad when I just heard about it. How did you guys feel when you first heard about it?
