Other fan favorites that I think had elements used for some of G4’s characters were Wind Whistler (who’s intelligent like Twilight) and Fizzy (who’s scatterbrained and clumsy like Derpy).
Geez. For a fan-favorite character who would go on to be the influence for one of the most popular characters in the new show, you’d think she would have appeared more often.
Rescue from Midnight Castle, the only one.
I haven’t seen anything else from G1, to be honest. This one didn’t leave a good impression on me, though.
