Then again, didn’t the RL-10 use that? So I guess it goes back. Maybe the J-2 used it as well?
Makes me wonder what the first engine to use the closed cycle was. RL-10 is the earliest one I can think of. Though truth be told I’m only guessing the RL-10 is closed cycle because of how insanely efficient it is.
