Description

Pinkie Pie was ecstatic when she got her cutie mark, eager to leave the rock farm and spread smiles throughout Equestria. However, her mother was ill and her father aging steadily, so she wasn’t permitted to leave her family in their time of need.

Pinkie, once very close to her family, grew to resent all of them because she knew her purpose was to travel and bring smiles to people. The only one of her family member’s she was close to was Maud, who loved the farm; yet, she knew Pinkie needed to chase her purpose, so she helped gather the money and supplies Pinkie needed to leave the farm.

Pinkie set off, throwing parties for ponies around Equestria. But she soon ran low on funds, and had to start a side business: fortune telling. While sometimes her fortune telling can be a little less than accurate, it attracts costumers and money. And it soon attracts a particular patron named Trixie.

Trixie meets Pinkie while performing in Canterlot, and comes to her fortune telling tent. Knowing all the tricks that she pulls herself, she’s skeptical of Pinkie’s ability. She invites Pinkie to attend one of her shows, and the rest is history.

Pinkie becomes Trixie’s show partner, using her Pinkie Sense to aide in tricks. They’re are the most playful couple ever, traveling Equestria together, never settling down anywhere, living their dreams: Trixie feeling successful as a performer and Pinkie bringing smiles. (Pinkie also still sometimes works as a fortune teller in between shows, but partying has become almost forgotten at this point, except for the occasional party that is bound to bring in good money for the couple).
