Yes, I remember Top Cat and the show it was a rip-off of (Sgt. Bilko). And honestly the characters are vaguely similar at best. Just because you say they are doesn’t make it true. This is just another in an endless series of dumb images were someone shoehorns two characters from different franchises together like they have some close relationship. “Oh my god, you guys! They’re cats and con-men!!! Seriously, they must be long-lost brothers!!”
Yeah, meh.
One small problem with that: Top Cat’s own movie was a disgrace to the Hanna-Barbera cartoon.

I used to as a kid, but ofc, that was like, 20 years ago nearly, so hard to remember.
I did think about that sometime after i posted, trying to remember Top Cat’s personality, but regardless, doesn’t really justify the image imo.

I take it you two never watched the old “Top Cat” cartoon? It’s not their appearance; it’s their personality and style. Honestly, the characters are pretty similar.
They don’t even have the same coloured coat, let along have any resemblance.
I swear if it’s cause of the clothes… Then you don’t even know the difference between a vest and a coat.
