Anyone else notice that as the C.M.C are giving Spike his message, how it’s Sweetie Belle who is rubbing his belly? Look closely at where her right hoof/hand is on his body. Sneaky Sweetie Belle.

Its never stated that Spikezilla its his adult version or something, he has monster up twice in the series and got 2 different appearances, it could be some monster baby thing. And please, do you really things cant change from gen1’s status quo? the series always tend to change details to stay fresh, Twillight got from nowhere a brother and a alicorn form without any kind of foreshadowing. Besides, I’m here just stating some cool possibilities, why the negative?

I like to think that all dragons get their wings in a similar way that ponies get they cutie mark (reaching some kind of maturity), then appearing spontaneously in a flare on his back. And from this there could be a mini story arc about the CMC helping Spike to get his wings.
