One guy here told me the facial expressions_*scared him_* and are partly why he doesn't like to watch it anymore.
I don't get that, as I always liked the silly exaggerated cartoony expressions, and they never really get to very disturbing/edgy levels like SpongeBob, or Ren & Stimpy. At least MLP still keeps it's innocence, despite it's edgy moments.
If there were no edge, or dark moments, it'd just be like some boring PBS kid show.
