This scene still makes me wonder – was the extent of Star Tracker’s injury (because let’s face it, that’s a pretty deep dent for just stepping on someone’s hoof) a result of Twilight having gotten earth pony strength as part and parcel of being an alicorn, or was she just that pissed?

I don’t think she meant to do it (at least consciously), she was already upset and was probably just going to walk away angrily. His hoof was just in the wrong place at the wrong time because of his habit of being right behind her.
