Spike and Starlight got along swimingly. They played off of eachother flawlessly and basically rekindled the “Smart Spike” of season 1 and early season 2 where he was a strong voice of reason, could be shifted off of a subject but would go back on it because he is attentive to his work, but was ALWAYS supportive of Starlight, especially her emotional frame of mind.
 
Starlight and Sunburst was like… “oh, I guess it’s okay to be friends now. I’ll write you some time.” I didn’t feel much of any dynamic there, not to mention their past is quite badly damaged and hinders much potential for development beyond what it is right now.
