@TorqueEffect Because making the real Pinkie go “Pinkamena Mode” over thinking she was just another Pinkie Clone would have made her stand out and easily differentiable from all the others.  
Would have caused “Why do they assume the one Pinkie that acts different is a defective clone and not the original?” while not helping with “What if the Pinkie they kept is a clone?”
