Yep, Iphigenia would be pretty much doomed if Button is able to break her sword (though she might still be able to use both pieces but that would be a bit uncomfortable).
 
Aside of her much larger experience both in magic and in fights, this would be probably the first battle of Button with these weapons, so I believe that Iphigenia might know some tricks and usual movements that newcomers does, though let’s still be clear; she’s not an expert (yet…).
 
Little swords also means that they are easier and more comfortable to manipulate, that could potentially be an advantage too. The biggest advantage of Button is his power and therefore referring to the weight of his instrument, the size shouldn’t be a problem to him, but could be counterproductive if he’s not sure of how to manage it.

How would you even able to burn Buster Sword? that sword is very robust.
 
well putting a sword into one piece after it shattered can consume a lot of her magic and while doing so Button can pretty much take an advantage on it and it can be a game over. Although even so Button Mash is an alicorn and have much larger sword, I think Iphigenia have a bit better chance of winning, because she have more experience is magic coordination and swordfighting, although she have to be careful, because well Button can smash her sword into little piece and when that’s happened it’s pretty much a game over.

He might have a lot of power, but does he know how to use it properly? He just been an alicorn for a bit of time, what if he uses accidentally so much magic that burns his knife? (not sure if that would be actually possible).
 
I guess the sword of Iphigenia should be of iron so that’s very difficult to break, but in the case that it happens, she could put it in one piece again with magic I suppose.

Well, don’t forget that Button is freaking Alicorn, he have aerial advantage over her and also much more magic potential than any other race, also what I mean that using the little one is that Button can literally smash her sword into little piece when she try to block Button Mash attack.

Well, as being the creator of Iphigenia (which by the way funnily none of the images here in Derpibooru were completely made by me) the idea of her was to be some kind of aspiring warrior pony which loved swords and everything related to them since she was a filly, and considering that she comes from a family of blacksmiths, she been around always with similar kind of instruments and played with them.
 
Therefore, she has much more experience both in swords and managing magic than Button, do not underestimate her potential even if she uses a little one, what it matters is the ability to use it, so I’m pretty sure she has many chances~
