> I'm not a R&M fan, but acting like that fandom is terrible because of a loud group of fans is hypocritical, considering what fandom *we're* in.
Eh, true, the Mlp fandom used to be Cancer and Loud, now it's just cancer. jk.
Sure all fandom have their fair share of Loud, Obnoxious, Awful part of their community and unfortunately the more louder you are the more focus you get.
Mlp was like that in the beginning, you would see mlp memes/art/really anything mlp related pop up the most random places on the internet(and in the real world?),where they really had no place to being with, it was sometimes shoved down in peoples throats and you could not get away from it on any part on the internet. I can see how people who were not really interested in mlp would get annoyed by it and can't blame them.
But I'd say the mlp has mellowed down quite a bit from when it's first exploded, now the fans just hang out in their own forums/communities and doesn't bother anyone who is not interested/outside of it, which is good.
Rick and Morty is kinda going through that phase now with an obnoxious loud part of the fandom bothering EVERYONE. But give it time and it will calm down like the mlp.
I'm also a R and M fan but witnessing the fanbase at the moment makes me cringe.
But eh, this is just my opinion, I might be wrong but this is my conclusion atm.
Also, this comic gave me a chuckle, gg.
