If it’s a personal preference then hate is a pretty strong word, don’t you think? Personally, I prefer pictures that depict Twilight as dark-skinned. It’s not that diversity is a must when it comes to humanized head-canons, I just happen to think it looks better with her general color scheme.

I have to admit that I do prefer lighter skinned humanizations for the reason in the picture; I just happen to imagine her as really pale due to the fact that she spends so much time in the library (and also because I think dark skin and purple hair just look weird together). It really isn’t a race thing, it’s just that I find that dark skinned-Twilight just looks odd.
 
HOWEVER, I don’t think that’s any reason to hate dark-skinned Twilight humanizations unless the art is also terrible for some other reason, or that dark-skinned Twilight’s can’t be well drawn. (Case in point, I actually like the humanized Twilight in this image). I mean, at worst when I don’t care for a piece of art for reasons of personal preference I’m usually just ambivalent about it. I’m not sure why “I’m not a fan of dark-skinned Twilight humanizations” would equate to “I hate it when people make Twilight dark-skinned because I don’t like it”.
