Makes you wonder - in this reality, do they have rights? Any at all? Is it murder if you kill them? Do interactions have to have consent? Are they "programmed" to obsessively want anything that you do, so as to make it so even if you gave them total freedom they'd just want to be slaves again?
Or what if they're programmed like real, normal adults that just love the crap out of you and will always have the hormones going so they keep loving you?
