MLP Next Gen: Limestone Pie’s Family
“Touch him. I dare you”.

Limestone long accepted the fact that she’d never really find marital love in her life. It was simply not for her. She was happy enough with her duties to the Pie Family Rock Farm and the sense of loyalty to that was enough for her. That all changed one day.

During her daily chores, she heard a strange noise in the mines. Thinking it was a bunch of scamps, she went to give whoever it was a piece of her mind. What she wasn’t expecting however, was a tiny little frightened colt (toddler age). At first she was irritated. That only scared him more. But eventally after some surprisingly gentle coaxing, she managed to get him out and back to the house. After learning he had no family she called Child Welfare. However she would have to care for him for a week before they got there.

The colt grew attached to her during his stay. And she quickly learned he was scared of everything. Everything, but her. He always made sure he could see her if not touch her in some way. Despite initially finding this a pure nuisance, she stayed with him and soothed him through every night terror and accident. He even got her to lower her voice.

Limestone denied this attachment. That is until the Child Welfare arrived. It only took a few seconds of him screaming and not being next to her before she snatched him back and ordered them to let her keep him. The little colt, now named Geode, is Limestone’s heart and joy. Though he’s clinging onto her even more now. But to be honest, Limestone’s pretty OK with that.

Here’s the first of my Next Gen families! Starting off with Limestone Pie, because why not?

I never really saw Limestone as a romantic in any way. She’s more of a family driven person. So if she’s gonna have love, might as well be familial love ^^

So here’s her little son Geode. He’s a jumpy little guy that’s practicality a koala from how much he’s attached to her, both figuratively and literally. Touch him while he’s scared of you then you’ll have an angry Mama Limestone Bear hunting you down.
