nightmare moon/Luna has a CUTIE MARK MOON because she raises the moon! celesta has a CUTIE MARK SUN because she raises the sun! sombra must have a BLACK crystal because he has CRYSTAL POWERS!! AND HE IS EVIL!!!

i think that it is a black crystal because in the music video “i’m still alive” his cutie mark turns into a black crystal. because of his opposite form makes him drown.
