This episode opened with Zecora casually swinging from what is very likely somepony’s mutated corpse.

Which might imply that they could also eventually be cured…perhaps?

Caused a slight mutation
In the rift
It toppled down a nation
And left the people running for the hills
I’d play it.This aöready was a thing. This is also combined with the theory, that Princess Peach is the bad guy and Bowser is teh good guy and Mario is not arawe of this situation. He just sees cute shrroms, grumpy shrooms, a beautiful woman and a giant turtle.
Headcannon for toads in Mario universe has now been created.
The Cordyceps. Can actually create zombies. And is the threat in “The Last of Us”.
… that’s actually a pretty apt comparison.

A lot worse, really.
That… that honestly makes things even worse.
Well, gosh, that just makes everything so much better and isn’t terrifying at all.
They’re not dead.
They’re very much alive. Their souls are still bound to this earth inside the tree.
No offense but that seems fairly groundless. The disease was clearly depicted as being spread through the pollen of the plants, which only the flash bees were immune to. It’s a world of magic, so I don’t think it’s outlandish to think that there’s a plant capable of shenanigans this extreme, I just find it strange how hundreds, perhaps thousands of ponies suffered through this plague (or witnessed their friends suffering through it), and absolutely no one managed to get the cure published - including Meadowbrook herself, before she vanished.

He was likely just pointing out something that this reminded him of.
What aggression? He was just stating facts directly.
Probably because Discord loves to troll, and anything that would leave somepony unable to react would kinda be counterproductive towards that.
What’s up with all the aggression? It was appropriate non-offtopic pic. Don’t flame.
Anon, that’s Poison Joke and that scene isn’t canon.
Try again.
