Description
Ponies often ask me, as God of Death, do I know what lies at the end of the River of Light?
It’s hard for them to believe that the ones they love only made less than a ripple in the river of Light. Until the heat death of the Universe, energy cannot be destroyed but it travels down meanders and canals until it can be used as something else, like newborn baby star.
It’s funny that even I am but a mayfly compared to the grandiose nature of life.
Like my mother, I will be a father and pass down my legacy as God. Watching over the River of Light and electing new reapers to bring the souls of the dead to its shores. Some try to cheat death and thus my job becomes sobering. Once the reapers have brought you to the edge of your consciousness I have no choice but to force unwavering souls into the river’s golden embrace.
Am I a monster? Pushing the old, the young, the sick and the able into the drink?
Such a question is not as easily answered as a simple black and white scenario.
No matter what the case, I treat every soul the same. Knowing one day I’ll join them on their journey.
I’ll be as equally unprepared. For I do not know what lies at the end of the River of Light

When Azimuth gets older, he takes on a more serpentine body shape. However, he becomes more humble as a being.
Currently, he merely shadows under mama Luna [yes I will draw them together soon] and hasn’t experienced the same pain his mom has laying souls to rest. But with auntie Celestia aging rapidly and Luna taking on more daily duties, Azimuth has a great deal of growing to do.
