As someone who can appretiate some creepy art from time to time I can say that I like both of your styles, and I do remember some cute art from you before the change, but now it’s on a whole new level. You’ve really leveled up your cuteness skills in resent years.  
I’m glad to hear that you know what you want and you are doing it. Thanks for all great art that gives me cold and creepy or warm and fuzzy feelings, and I’m looking forward to see more in the future :3

Growing up, I guess ?  
I used to make creepy ponies because I was an edgy depressed teen, also at that time I was very inspired by CrookedTrees. 3 years ago, I had events who changed a lot my life, I went to art school and I was very inspired by animated movies with cute appealing characters. I found what I wanted to do in my artist career !  
Before being a grimdark artist I was still drawing cute art and in 2014-2015 was an important year for me to practice my art making it look appealing and cute again !  
I don’t regret that “phase” tho, it was fun and made me learn a lot about digital painting.

I’m really quite surprised how Imalou went from drawing deliberately creepy ponies like this >>604369 or >>29116, or the thing above (a crop from an old drawing) to drawing some of the cutest art in the fandom (starting from about 3 years ago onwards). I almost want to know what happened? Not that this change is a bad thing :3
