A perfect little story that’s just the right size to capture the moment. <3
Damn Dash-mom. Why you gotta be so adorable.
What were you implying with the last line? Not saying I’m against anything, just coirious.
“One-four-two…One-four-three…One…four-four…” Rainbow Dash grunted through gritted teeth, doing wing push-ups, her wings sore from holding up her weight for so long.
“C’mon, Crash, I know you’ve got some more in you,” Fleetfoot said, tapping her pen against her clipboard.
“One-four…five…One…four…six…One…four…seven…One…four…guh…” Rainbow groaned, collapsing to the ground, in a sweaty mess, the last of her energy spent.
“Nice job, Dash. Almost broke your personal best,” Fleetfoot said, marking her results down.
“Ugh, I was so close, too…” Rainbow rolls onto her back, sitting upright. She grabs her towel, wiping the sweat off of her face and neck.
“Hey, none of the other recruits can break triple digits, you’re already leaving them in the dust. Now c’mon, we gotta go through some of the routines after this,” Fleetfoot grabs Rainbow’s wrist, pulling her to stand up as they walked towards the locker room.
Rainbow Dash started stretching out her sore wings, pausing when she heard laughter coming from inside the locker room. It wasn’t regular, ‘hilarious joke being told’ laughter, but wild, unrestrained hysterics. Guess it was just that time again. The Wonderbolts had always done that sort of thing to another fellow unsuspecting member. She was just glad that it wasn’t her this time, like it usually was.
But as Rainbow Dash listened closer wave of unease hit her. The laughter sounded familiar, which was to be expected, but for some reason, it was the fact that it was familiar that made her tense up. She stopped just outside the door, that laughter definitely came from someone she knew, but who?
“Hey, what are you waiting for? C’mon, let’s go!” Fleetfoot started nudging Rainbow Dash, trying to stop her from blocking the way in.
“R-right, sorry…” Dash shook her head. She was probably thinking much about it. She opened the door, barely taking a couple steps inside before her jaw dropped.
“MOM?!”
“Ohohoho, H-Hi Dashie!” Windy Whistles giggled. Rainbow Dash’s mom was put on a pink recliner, her wrist tied with rope behind her head, and her ankles strapped to the seat. Surrounding her were Rainbow’s fellow Wonderbolts members, who had stopped their tickling to turn at the sudden outburst.
Rainbow Dash covered her eyes, hoping that what she saw was just a hallucination. Maybe she passed out doing wing-ups and this was all a fever dream she was having as she lay in bed at the infirmary.
She rubbed her eyes, the confusing imagery still not going away. “Mom, why are you-” Rainbow Dash couldn’t even finish the second half of that sentence. Asking about it would mean she acknowledged it was happening.
“Oh, sweetie! Your friends are so fun!” Windy giggled as the Wonderbolts’ hands started digging into her body once again.
“Such a cute laugh!” one of the Wonderbolts said, pressing his fingers right under the ball of her foot.
“She’s adorable!” another one cooed, forcibly spreading her toes apart with one hand, using the other hand to rake down her tender soles.
One Wonderbolt was on each side, both of them wiggling their fingers in her armpits, interchanging light teasing with wild scribbling. The one on her left took advantage of Windy’s exposed midriff, using her left hand to attack her exposed side.
“M…Mom?!” Rainbow Dash repeated, at a loss for words.
“Heeheehee! Y-yes, Rainbow?”
“Mom, why are you even here? I thought they were clear about guests coming to the academy!”
“I knohohohow! B-But you left your plushie at hohohohome, so I c-came hehehehere to give it to yohohohouI” she said, tilting her head in the direction of one of the benches. Sure enough, a little stuffed doll of pegasus in Wonderbolt attire lay there, prompting a few chuckles from the others in the locker room, seemingly waiting for a turn.
“Okay, fine. Thank you,” Rainbow Dash blurted out, grabbing it and shoving it into her locker as fast as she could. “But what are you doing here doing this!?”
“W-Well, I-EEHEEHEEHAHAHAHA!” Windy Whistles jolted when one of the Wonderbolts started squeezing her hips. “I…I WAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!” She tried again and again to talk, but the pegasi continued to scribble their fingers against her defenseless body.
“Guess I’ll explain,” a familiar voice said. Rainbow Dash turned her head to see Spitfire come in. ”She came here looking for you, Crash. She had wandered into the locker room and saw the recliner. We were planning on using Surprise, but your mom thought it was so much fun, she wanted to have a turn,” she explained, adjusting her sunglasses.
Dash grimaced. The fact that Spitfire was alright with all of this was concerning, to say the absolute least.
“Ordinarily, you’d be in big trouble for guests, even if you didn’t invite her, but your parents are pretty cool, so I’ll let it slide this once,” Spitfire said casually leaning against Rainbow. “Don’t make a habit of it though,” she said with a sudden sternness.
Rainbow Dash sighed. She was so tired from training, why did she have to deal with this now? “Please don’t tell me dad’s here, too…” Rainbow moaned, pinching the bridge of her nose.
Spitfire shrugged. “As far as I know, your mom came here on her own.”
Windy nodded in agreement. “T-THEY’RE SOHOHOHO GOOHOOHOOHOOHOOD!”
“I could listen to her laugh all day…” one of them said, wiggling his fingers at the base of her wings.
“Oooh, look at her toes!” another one grinned, tickling just underneath her toes to see them spread out and wiggle in response.
“Heh, I think someone has competition for ‘Favorite Pony to Tickle’,” Spitfire chuckled, elbowing Rainbow Dash in the ribs.
“Oh nooohohohoho! I’m soooorry Dashie! I didn’t mean to take that awaaay from you! Eeheeheehee!” The Wonderbolts kept going, delighting in Windy’s cheerful laughter and squirming.
“Mom. That is not a title I want, and it’s not one I’m proud of having.” Rainbow Dash sighed in exasperation. Why did her mom have to come here? Why did her friends love tickling her so much? And why could she not stop watching?
Because in Caroo’s pics, Dash simply can’t ever stand being tickled. ^^U
It’s pretty much canon that Rainbow Dash despises being tickled.
Well…hmm, maybe AJ could AJudicate the competition, as we all know she’s easily the least ticklish anyway. :P
who wouldn’t say that Dash would enjoy it more and win ;)
Given Windy seems to be enjoying herself, I say she would win pretty easily.
