There’s Darkspine Sonic in the video game Sonic and the Secret Rings, this form is the closest to Dark Sonic in the game canon.
Oh yeah, I remember. Though, stuff in the cartoon canons are usually separate from the game canons.
Seriously, Sonic has almost as many different canons as Batman now. (But I’m cool with that, I like having unique versions of the characters.)
It’s an official form in the anime Sonic X.
