Description
Drakengard reference for the win. because this movie is a rip off of drakengard…and star wars. they pretty much just rip off the whole plot to star wars and add in the, guy makes pact with a dragon and they both die if one dies. unfortunately the main character doesn’t lose his ability to speak. But at least it has jeremy irons.

“Let’s just replace the ‘d’ in ‘dragon’ with an ‘e’! Eragon! Brilliant!”
He was 19 when it became a NYT bestseller. He claims he started writing the books in his free time during high school.
Ah, even younger than I had remembered? :3
I thought he was 16, but no he didn’t write it for someone else or have autism.

Ah. I thought I had heard the author was around nineteen, twenty-ish at the time. Or he wrote Eragon for a family member with Autism. Ah, well.
Pretty sure Christopher Paolini doesn’t have that.
Horrible film.
This movie, however? Not so much.
How did you manage that? I’m asking because I’ve been trying to forget that the movie existed since I saw it…
That and i’m guessing the writer never heard of drakengard.
