I knew a lot of people were going to blow this episodes lesson out of proportion. The real lesson is that regardless of the stupid internet arguments the writers feel if they help even one person with the show than it is worth it. Remember that they had foals arguing outside as well about Rainbow Dash being the best.


 
Edit: I think the major issue here is people are taking them being foals far too literally, and not getting they are stand ins for anyone who gets the lesson of the show.
