Here’s the weird thing.
There’s been a female Storm Shadow for awhile now but original Storm Shadow returned so now she’s called Tempest.
Well, she is rumored to return in the next season, so many her Snake-Eyes would show up sometime around there.

one can argue storm king is one of the masters of arashikage (not blind master though)
So Tempest Shadow IS this universes Storm Shadow then.
