Nothing wrong with a little immaturity

@BigBuggyBastage
You guys are talking about peanut allergies and nut-based food and I’m just laughing at the world nut-butter
Nut butter, or seed butter. I’ve had most of these (except those marked by asterisks.)
Nut:
Almond
Cashew
Pecan *
Seed:
Poppy **
Pumpkin *
Sunflower
Tahini (Sesame Seed.)
** = Never tried it, never saw it for sale except online, and I have no idea about its flavor. I’m willing to try it, though.

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I’m totally on-board with the cocoa, though. I love Coco Wheats, and I think the flavor would be awesome with oats vs wheat/farina.
I can’t say, I’m deathly not-really-allergic-just-don’t-like-it-at-all to mayo.
Maybe some other nut butter?
I would be dead in less than five minutes. LoL No really, I’m deathly allergic to peanut anything.
Would Hellman’s make an acceptable substitute?
My favorite as well, if only they didn’t take so long to make!
Pro-tip: mix in some wetted cocoa powder while cooking, transfer to your bowl, then add a spoonful of Nutella. Top with “natural” (peanuts only) peanut butter. Lots of protein and fiber to keep you going past lunchtime.
Coca-Cola substituted caffeine for cocaine in 1903, IIRC.
In the U.S., up until the Pure Food and Drug Act of 1906, pretty much anything could have opium, cocaine, morphine, laudanum, etc., perhaps some REALLY OLD meat (in the case of sausage – look up The Jungle by Upton Sinclair), or some heavy metals you do NOT want in your body, e.g. lead, radium, uranium, or mercury; these were “patent” formulas that you’d be insta-prosecuted for today. But the Act didn’t have real teeth until the U.S. F.D.A. was reorganized as such in the late-1920s, and then codified in the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act of 1938.
I still wanna try this Oat-A-Cola, though. My recent personal discovery of steel-cut oats has renewed my interest. :3

I didn’t know it until you mentioned it, and I compulsively looked it up

I’m well aware, in fact it’s a widely circulated bit of knowledge.
Fewer people know that the “Cola” in both Coca-Cola and Pepsi-Cola was derived from the kola nut, a health fad at the time both were invented. It’s no longer used in either recipe.
Coca-cola used to include coca leaf(the leaf containing the main ingredient of cocaine) extract. The kola nut and coca leaf used to make were its namesake
Edited
Nah, it’s probably cut with Mentos shavings. Add it and you’ll get a more literal version of a “soda fountain.”
Probably cheaper to add your own these days, anyway.
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?
I was actually referring to cocaine.
Edited
Yeah, surprisingly there’s little to no kola nut in it anymore.
To be fair, it would’ve been much funnier and better if there were no cuss. I’m not offended, I’m just sayin’ my opinion.
If you’re offended by a comic about a pony living with her human husband, then you’re really easily offended.
You could just add a buckton of oat syrup to carbonated water, but it shouldn’t be too difficult to produce a flavoring from toasted oats. I’m kinda surprised there isn’t already a Cheeriosoda.
That would take care of the carbonation, to an extent. :D
Wonder how an alcohol-free version could be made. Maybe chocolate milk as the base?
a cola made of oats, brown sugar, and milk
Sounds more like a milk stout.
