Other than that, I can completely understand why. Not like anypony would be looking for them as though they were pets, so you’d easily get away with killing them.
I was at first going to ask how it was that the conversation never came up that Dark may even consider turning, but once I read that he was respectful of her stance on the topic, I can kinda see why that never happened, even near death.
Perhaps it may be that some would prefer to have a set limit on their lives so as to not live endlessly, even if it just means having the added option of old age. Quite a personal moral dilemma.
I love the comment thread on this picture, though. Answered a lot of my own questions very well. Makes me wonder if there exists professional productive commenters out there. Getting those real questions asked, so you don’t have to ask yourself! Aha!
more of convenience, they are quite abundant, dont tend to travel in packs like timeberwolves, their heads and necks arent scaly, so they are easier to bit into, and they arent as diffucult to subdue like ursas or manticorns

nah blood donations didnt exist back then, her story takes place in these pictures about 800 yeahs before season 1 started, Dark was just a sweet hard and managed to capture her some cockatrices and get their blood. He knows how she feels about pony blood because she use to be a pony, it gives her a slight moral conflict so he respects that and never pushed it
i probably should have edited out the “Blood A” Vavacung just kinda put that there on his own accord and i didnt feel like us arguing over it lol

no it wouldnt be a lie, she will forever love Dark. to answer your question, it is quite possible to love more than one pony, should she find a new lover down the line, that doesnt mean that all her feelings for dark will just vanish, it just means that somepony else will share in her heart, it more or less means “i will always love you and never forget you, or the times we shared together” kinda phrase

and now that i think about it, if she has a new lover in future chapter, dosent that makes the words in this image a lie? i mean, its not a bad lie since its the last words he will hear and such, but still

you are fine . I dont really consider biting somepony as harming them in and of itself, but drinking their blood enough to quench her hunger would kill them, so that si the reason she avoids it. Though if she was hungry enough that the hunger pains made her cave in, or ordered to by Luna (just an example, she wouldnt in this universe) midnight would do it

in the story universe that her story is being written in, Vamponies are quite rare, due to them bieng hunted and killed off when signs of one show
As for why she doesnt turn him into a vampony, Midnight is afraid to, she has done her best to never feed on anypony, and she doesnt want to turn her lover into one as then he would become her servant, the love would be there, but she feels she would be robbing him of the freedom of his own will by doing so, plus he never asked either, she might have considered it more if he said he wanted to be turned
and for your next question, she has managed to substain herself on cockatrice blood over the years

this picture is her sealed form she prefers to take as its MUCH more easy to manage and slower metabolism, meaning less feeding,
Oh and she in a way has a immortal lover, but i cant spoil that just yet as that part of her story hasnt been released yet ;)

why not get in love whit a, uhh, vamp..stallion? not her type? or other inmortal/long living beings?
Eh Midnight is quite use to living alone, and she would be fine being single forever, but she woudl still prefer to live her long life with a shimmer of vibrant color from time to time than live a dull grey eternity, sure it hurts now, and she will be along for a while, (give or take a 100 years maybe) but would 40-50 years of joy and happiness be worth having to go through a year of sadness

yeah, time heals all wounds, as does midnight, she will be fine in a few months lol, but the pain is always there during the immediate loss of a loved one, the only down side of immortal, or in Midnights case, ageless. Is that you have to watch them grow old, weak and frail while you stay young, strong, and sturdy.
