The cover for issue 4 of the My Little Pony Movie Prequel comic from IDW Publishing! done in tribute to the iconic art of Bob Peak’s fantastic painting for the Star Trek:The Motion Picture poster.
This was done with acrylics/airbrush, and colored pencil. i think my favorite part of this is Celestia and Luna!

Given the MLP movie trailer had more action than the entirety of ST:TMP, at least we won’t be as bored.
They still need a character voiced by Patrick Stewart.
More like they would scrunch their faces at the dug up memories of Star Trek: The Motion Picture, of which the poster was the only good thing about it, now flooding their brain.
