All he cared was separating Fluttershy from Tree Hugger. So I don’t think him forgetting Maud is a continuity error, really.
I don’t know, he could pretty clearly see her and the entire room was paying attention to her. You’d at least think “Oh, you’re that pony who heckled me?”
Selective memory.
Discord got heckled by this pony that was in a large crowd once. Clearly the fact that he didn’t instantly know the name and family history of some heckler at a party that he never interacted with again is an egregious continuity error!
