That and I think he just plain enjoys what he does. Must be great to be a guy who loves his work.
People seem to assume destroying Canterlot and defeating or capturing Celestia, Luna, and Cadance doesn’t take very much effort. I never truly understood why that is. :T
Don’t underestimate him. He might seem a little scatty and casual, but he’s actually dangerously smart.
He’s like Xykon from Order of the Stick. He doesn’t mind playing the fool because it’s a laugh and it fools people into thinking he’s your friend, but he’s actually a lot more on the ball than he seems.
