Description
At last! I finished Honey’s reference page! Here’s her Earth Pony form and her Default Outfit (as in, when she comes back through the mirror, this is what she’ll be wearing) in the Mirror World! Also, I was tagged a while ago for 8 Facts about Honey by @AGirlWhoLikesArt so why not post those here as well!
| 1.) Honey treasures her Smartypants doll that was given to her by Aunt Twilight when she was a baby, and she keeps Smarty close by no matter where she is. |
| 2.) Although she’s an Earth Pony in Equestria (and, of course, she’s a human inside of Mirror World) Honey does have abilities tied to Cadence’s emotional magic, such as: heightened empathy and pathokinesis (she has a calming aura and she can transfer her positive, loving energy onto others - she doesn’t have the ability to directly pass on her emotions to others (she can’t make everyone cry when she does, like Blue Diamond) it’s a subtle transfer…) |
| Honey’s abilities are stronger when she’s visiting Equestria, as that’s where internal magic thrives, though she can channel them at home a bit too. (She’s not aware she even has these abilities, though they are incredibly useful in the future) She also lights up when she’s joyful, though it’s so subtle you’d have to be paying attention to notice. |
| 3.) Honey loves animals a lot, dogs (thank Winona and Spike for that!) most of all! She can’t wait until she’s allowed to have a puppy of her own - or any animal, as long as they can be best friends! |
| 4.) She keeps bandaids, hand sanitizer and lollipops inside her backpack in case someone gets hurt during school (Pumpkin particularly) and she also carries an extra pair of noise cancelling headphones for Mabel when she experiences sensory overload - something that, as she’s grown up around Mabel her whole life, she’s very adept at taking care of for a child her age. |
| 5.) Honey’s a darling to have around a classroom, attentive, eager to learn and very friendly - she often helps her teachers pass out handouts, clean up toys and quiet her classmates during school. She also visits her old teachers and brings apple treats as gifts because she grows attached to her teachers during the school year. |
| 6.) Pound and Pumpkin both have crushes on Honey (Pound’s crush being more obvious than Pumpkin’s as she hasn’t realized she has a crush on Honey yet) though she doesn’t realize, as she hasn’t noticed romance yet outside of knowing that Mommy and Daddy/Auntie Twilight and Aunt Sunset are True Love. |
| 7.) She very close to her great-grandparents, Grand Pear and Granny Smith. Those two absolutely adore her and she doesn’t know yet that she doesn’t have any living grandparents. Cadence and Big Mac quietly dread the day she realizes - Big Mac especially, since Cadence’s (foster) parents at least knew Honey when she was a baby and he never got the chance to see his baby girl meet his parents. |
| 8.) When she met the Apple Family in Equestria, she immediately won them over by trying to buck an apple tree - she managed to knock a single Apple out of the tree and had their hearts in her hooves ever since. |
Yep! It was played up for the viewer, she wasn’t glowing quite as much from Twilight and Sunset’s perspective but yeah! (I decided it would be cute if she had a bit of a Crystal Pony-ish thing happening when she’s particularly happy)
