THey are in the badlands(the round crater like land). This was already set up in the comics and though it wasn't out right stated the recent season finale did show the changeling hive to pretty much be in a land very similar to the what the comics showed. So even if the comics aren't completely canon, it pretty confirmed that the changeling hive that Queen Chrysalis use to rule is in the badlands.
