I think their concern was people manipulating for votes. Like, “Twixxie wote this, if you downvote it you’ll make her cry, if you upvote it it’ll make her happy” sort of thing.
 
That’s my guess. I think I saw something somewhere once to support that, but I’m not really sure.

That’s about what I’m doing with it. So far, I’ve managed to have a story blocked for just about every other reason on there. (hyperbole) and figure, at this point what’s the harm of actually catching em all?
 
Anyways, that does make the meta rule a lot clearer. I don’t think I’m gonna bump into it. Everything I write keeps self contained.

Fortunately, the mark is chaffing and an impression, so it won’t be permanent…

This gives me an odd mix of feeling a bit bad for drawing that other thing, but also glad and bad that I made something that had such an impression on someone. Glad, because that’s the purpose of art, but bad because it’s a bad feeling. But maybe it helps? I dunno.

Tip; make it work as a standalone story. There were four sisters. This stuff happened. Doesn’t need to actually reference Derpibooru directly, as a website. I think the meta-rule is more about stuff like “a depressed brony writer needs people to upvote his story” or “Trixie tries writing on fimfiction.net and this is her story” and such. But maybe it’s more widely encompassing. Not sure.
 
Also note there’s a lot of ponification OCs aside from these four sisters.

@Arifproject I thought about fimfiction, but they have rules against meta stories, and stories that only a small group of people would get. And I think this would be really, really meta.
 
But shoot. I might give it a shot. Worst they’ll do is not approve it for publishing.
