If it’s a romance I’d hope she falls for a guy that loves/likes despite her downplayed look. Then after a time seeing Rarity return to her true self and fall deeper in love with her seeing her in a light that she kept hidden.
I’d also hope for an epilogue that shows Rarity living a balanced life. Raising kids in her mom clothes but going to fashion related events that gives her a chance to shine the she’s always loved to shine.
