Description

Happy French National Day!
Every year, on July 14, the French celebrate the french national holiday (often referred to as “Bastille Day”).
Bastille Day celebrates the storming of the Bastille, an important fortress and prison, in 1789. That event was a pivotal event at the beginning of the French Revolution and the battle against the monarchy in Europe.

Also it’s not stated on our constitution that we celebrate the storming of the Bastille, it could also be the “Fête de la fédération” organised one year after the storming of the famous empty fortress. The “fête de la fédération” had the goal to mend the relation between the People and the King wich sounds nicer in terms of progressing towards democracy than the steaming bloody pile of corpses that was the Terror

Yeah, it was better to vote for the guy who looked at us dead cold in the eyes and told us that he was going to fuck us instead of taking a chance between a weird mix of a left and right leaning women or the nazi demon that our corrupt medias belonging to the french 1% promised us
