I guess.
Still, it’s what we have until other information about her initial arrival is given.
…You do know the comics aren’t a reliable source of canon, right?

yeah, the comic did cover that part, but it only scratched the surface. despite that, it clearly shows that she doesn’t actually struggle with being human for the first time – she instantly adapts to the human world! Twily and Glimmer, though, had difficulty getting used to being human during their time there. 😐
@Sunset’s Minion
true, but she slips into her ponyisms after her redemption; before that, she showed no signs of slipping up at all. and besides, I was actually talking about when she goes through the portal into the human world for the first time. maybe DHX and IDW should’ve elaborated on that more? 🤔
Didn’t the IDW comics cover Sunset’s initial emergence into the EG world?
I haven’t actually read that comic, but I would like to be able to sometime.
Of course she has, if Epic Fail is anything to go by then she still sometimes slips into pony autopilot.
@Background Pony Number 17
have you guys ever wondered if Sunset had this fish-out-of-water moment herself? if not, then why would DHX even bother doing so with Twily and GlimGlam? it wouldn’t make any sense for the two of them to go through that and not Sunset. methinks DHX has no idea what they’re doing in regards to Equestria Girls. ¬A¬
EDIT: Sunset actually mocked Twily for this… but didn’t do likewise with Starlight. XmX

You have to admit, suddenly discovering you have fingers would be pretty disconcerting. The human hand has a ton of nerve endings and takes up a lot of “sensory space” in our brains. Twilight and Starlight would be bombarded by sensory stimuli that they wouldn’t at first realize where it’s coming from.
Oh, okay.
I think that person is referring to how similar Twilight and Starlight are acting which you presumably responded to that idea with “as expected for mini-Twilight”.
Who are you talking about?
Sorry, I just think of that every time a character from anywhere analyzes their hands like that.
