I can agree on that. I’m glad it’s not one of those trailers that spoils the film too.
It would honestly have been impossible to dissapoint me, because i only have 2 criteria.
1:its not bad
2: it doesnt spoil the movie
It did neither, so I’m happy!
It does look good with the sea ponies though, and then again, I may only be judging by the trailer, but I’m still excited for the film though.

I can understand and I agree, I don’t want this to turn out badly, or not only will it be a huge disappointment, a lot of fans may stop with MLP for good…
To me, the animation was the biggest disappointment, while the show has fluent, brightly colored animation, the film’s animation is stilted and for some reason done in what looks like muted colors. And the CGI in there was bad. Am I the only one here who was disappointed in the animation for the film?
Just to be clear, the the people who made the movie have no control over how the trailer is made. Its all up to lionsgate to decide the best way to advertise the movie to its target demographic, which is young girls.
I think it’s gonna get dark. like they’re gonna fail once and then retreat out into the wilderness or something.
why else would they leave equestria (as it is being attacked) to ask for help from other nations?
I really don’t know what to say to this trailer…
Don’t get me wrong this looks great but….really it feels like they aren’t doing anything different with the mlp formula…this was supposed to be the movie that could push itself out of the restraints of a TV episode…get dark, get more mature…but this?
I have the worst sense of foreboding with this movie that I am praying to god doesn’t come to pass because if it does…this is going to be the worst disappointment in MLP fandom history.
