@BarryFromMars
In a sense, yes. She fails to see how well off she is, and as a result, no matter how rewarded she gets, she always complains later on about wanting to be MORE important.

However instead of teaching a lesson about it, Celestia only encourages it. As a result, Twilight is by definition the most morally flawed of the
group because she never even attempts to see her flaws. Whenever Discord, Dash or Spike brought it up, she always brushed it aside instead of letting herself have some introspective.

The problem is partially arrogance, but there’s a secondary problem that might be more severe. Twilight can’t distinguish between her own wants and the wants of her teacher…as a result, she might feel unsatisfied, not because she needs more, but because the direction of her life chosen by Celestia is simply one she hates, but she fails to realize that. Celestia can’t make a mistake in her mind.

Hasbro doesn’t want Twilight to have character development for many reasons. One of the biggest reasons is that as long as Twilight follows Celestia’s word like a cultist, she’ll never dissobey Celestia’s extremely insane requests and she’ll never question what she wants. In the comics however, DHX approved of IDW comics moving forword with Twilight’s character development beyond the show, realizing Celestia’s wants and her wants were separate.

I just noticed that this is somewhat inaccurate. The only error I can find with this is that Applejack and Twilight need to be swapped. Let’s look at Applejack first. Applejack has only ever exhibited an obvious sense of greed for the most righteous of reasons: the benefit of her family. She is, however, incredibly prideful and stubborn. This is seen most prominently in her rivalry with Rainbow Dash, and her various conflicts with characters such as Flim and Flam. Twilight, on the other hand, has shown herself to be quite humble, especially in Trixie’s debut episode, during which the main conflict was her not wanting to seem arrogant by putting Trixie in her place. What she does exhibit, however, is an insatiable greed for knowledge on many, many occasions. Being a librarian, you could say it kinda comes with the territory, but that’s beside the point.
But other than that, this seems pretty accurate, so kudos.

Never got why some people are so adamant about assigning sins to our protagonists. I mean everyone slips up and sins, and each person has personal weaknesses, but I don’t think any of them really embody a single, particular sin.

No offense to the person that posted this. Whoever posted this clearly had the seven deadliest sins in mind. Derpy Hooves disapproves of this.
