Maybe, but like I said, given that he already looks almost like Blaze anyway, why did they basically waste money making up a new character rig instead of using one that they already had.

I guess I could buy that, especially on glancing at sceenshots of the mentioned eps, he pretty much has Blaze's EXACT color scheme. They only thing different is his cutie mark. But again, Blaze appears in the last Christmas ep, so he must have REALLY let himself go within a years time...
