Necro post update: Tried finding voice generator to make this “dubbed” but the only free one i found is extremely basic and is unable to produce the kind of voice that would be applied to this so i scrapped the idea.

Fair point, but I will say that Twilight is Starlight’s teacher so it’s not out of the realm of possibility.  
I’d also say that Celestia could have very well taught Twilight a lot of what she knows.  
Also I’ll parrot @Ihhh and say that Twilight probably knows those spells as well.

Time Travel was just the one Twilight used in season 2 and Starlight managed to modify it.  
Twilight’s done plenty of magic in the past that’s Starlight hasn’t done.
 
Twilight has:  
>Changed the species of the mane 6 in It Ain’t Easy Being Breezies  
>Modified the diet of the parasprites and fruitbats in Swarm of the Century and Bats!  
>Had a reforming spell on hand for Discord In Keep Calm and Flutter On  
>Changed the cutie marks of the rest of the mane 6(albeit accidentally) in MMC  
>Used a time stop spell when the rest of the mane 6 got crazy in Castle Mane-ia  
>Absorbed the power of the other three Princesses in Twilight’s Kindgom
 
So, no, Starlight is not more powerful than Twilight.  
If you said she was on par with Twi, that’d be more believable.

Well, Twilight has her whole life worth of magical study. Again, that was a single episode.  
They haven’t shown Starlight being more powerful than Twilight.  
And mine does as well. Tell me where Starlight has been shown to be more powerful than Twilight. All I remember is Starlight freezing Twilight in the Cutie Remark and that’s it. Also, Starlight probably had to learn that spell and Twilight was able to instantly copy it.  
And then there’s in the Season 5 premiere where Starlight said:  
“What? I studied that spell for years, how could you-”  
So, no, she is not more powerful.

I’m being serious, dude. Starlight was powerful for a single episode in the season 5 finale, but she didn’t even overpower Twilight. She outsmarted her. Twilight still has more raw power.
