El retorn de Jan
This movie had one of the best villain ensembles in all the Bond canon: Yaphett Kotto, Julius W. Harris, Geoffrey Holder, Earl Jolly Brown… Excellent character actors. And there was the very recently (less than a week ago) deceased Clifton James as the very funny sheriff D.W. Pepper (I imagine AJ in the part). I love the down-to-earth ambientation, in stark contrast of the glamour of Connery’s era, especially the Harlem scenes. Nice music by George Martin, and the boat chase is still exciting as heck.

Too bad Roger Moore was still getting the hold as 007 and feels a bit insecure about how to play the character. The girls, Jane Seymour and Gloria Hendry, are mediocre at the very least (especially Hendry: I’ve seen her on other films and was a quite competent action girl type. Shame, shame, shame)…

Andy’s tribute is full of win, like all the movie parodies he does. I hope to see him drawing/writing something like Deadpool, Lobo, She-Hulk, Guardians Of The Galaxy or Howard The Duck in the future.
