Indeed. This, Bulk’s worried face, Trixie’s love of teacups (first tag I’ve made that didn’t immediately get a load of people trying to kill it). I think they give us some of these gifts on purpose.

Honestly I wish this was a two-parter. Don’t get me wrong Starlight and Trixie’s dynamic is gold but I’d have honestly preffered a second episode of cute bug ponies and Celestia character development while we had it. Walking into this episode with no prior spoilers felt like encountering a legendary pokepony in the tall grass.
I love how they turned it into a “suspenseful” commercial break cliffhanger. xD
