That translation made my english teacher cry, it should be something along the lines of “when you know you screwed big time, but you give 0 fucks about what other people say”

Thing is, the LITERAL translation doesn’t make sense. But in some Spanish slangs, sometimes the second line, which more accurately translates to “But you still care for what other says.” actually means the opposite since the word “Vale”, which means Worth, is very often used - in expressions like this - right before an insulting or diminishing comparison. Because of this happening so often, some people started downright ommiting the comparison, letting the word alone express the connotation.
 
Basically, what the line is saying is: “When you know you fucked up big time, but you give (no) actual fucks about what others got to say”.

Somehow the translation makes even less sense…
