And here is the collage of the three recent Spitfires images. I’m sorry for not comming up with this one earlier but somewhat bloated the gallery by posting those images individually. Originally I had meant to use only one image but then I couldn’t make up my mind and I only made the collage yesterday.
Aye, same reason the Americans got rid of the red point within the star on their roundel about half a year after Pearl Harbor.
Probably got mixed up between RAF and Hinomaru roundel I guess…That’s why the SEAC using this one instead of usual RAF roundel.
Though the name of the character is Spitfire rather than Zero ;)

Back then I really had my shelves full with WW1 and WW2 plane models along with what other stuff I could gather about them. This Spitfire model is one of very few who survived my moving out.
I see.. Thought it was die-cast model because of the paint reminds me of good ol’ rusted and dusted Corgi Die-cast Spitfire I used to own (Which I stupidcally, idotically sold em’ on freakin’ eBay.- Idiots). . Good work by the way, it was awesome.
It was an Airfix model kit if memory serves me right.
