Joking aside, I’m psyched to see this movie regardless of who’s distributing it (… well, almost regardless. Thank the alicorns that Sony isn’t involved).

Parasprite?
Poniversal?
Touchpone?
Oh, and Chrysalis Records should have been revived for the soundtrack.
@northern haste
What he said. I meant S3D as in Stereoscopic 3D. I really hate it when they confuse CGI for Stereoscopic 3D. It’s not like I want the MLP movie to be CG (Hello, Stereoscopic 3D applies (kinda rarely) to 2D animated films too like SpongeBob, the Simpsons short film “The Longest Daycare” and past Disney re-releases such as The Lion King), is just that I am disappointed that Lionsgate’s future releases, including tentpole films like Saban’s Power Rangers and My Little Pony: The Movie, are gonna be released only in 2D, much to its underperformance for the former leading to no instant announcements for a sequel, which it isn’t the case for MLP, now that they surpassed its presumed “not-fake” budget of 5-9 million bucks, despite not being #1 at the box office.
On an unrelated topic, why would an MLP movie be bad in CGI and yet videos of MLP made in Source Filmmaker that looks like a CG animated movie is really praised by viewers? (which it’s not all but most people who like it or don’t get pissed over MLP.)
Fortunately I found a Blu-ray listing on Amazon so thank the Lords
Different kind of 3D
I dunno, almost every animated movie is 3D nowadays, so I don’t see why it has to be entirely 3D. Also, Lionsgate has produced/published 3D animated features before, so I don’t see how they’re “3D-hating.”
Besides, I don’t think a 3D MLP movie will look that good, or it’ll just look like the Emoji movie or something, with lots of “Dreamworks” face, but with ponies.
Hopefully the deal might let Hasbro change from S3D-hating Lionsgate to 3D-Allowing Paramount for the possible MLP movie sequel.
Edited
I know. Is just that they want less guests (for the sake of character development and screentime for the Mane 6 rather than focus on Twi, Dash and Pie.) for a sequel for a 99-minute pone film. If it is possible. Just saying.
See the discussion about a Pony sequel in EqD.

I don’t see much problem with the celebrities getting top billing you know because they’re celebrities they are more likely to get the attention of people outside the fanbase the main cast may be recognisable to us but to a mass audience not so much because
Honestly, I never even heard of the “guest stars” before, (not even the Australian singer) so I didn’t mind them honestly. Even if a few famous ones appeared I wouldn’t of minded.
And the show’s had a few, nobody complained about William Shatner voicing Grandpa Pear. (Funny thing is, I didn’t recognize him at first.)
Edited
I know.
But still. Lionsgate’s marketing towards the film is less TV spots and few trailers and the money goes to social media advertising. And some people hate celebrities because of how they were given top billing in trailers and posters. No wonder people wanted less guess actors if there is possibly a sequel for the movie.
Also i heard Lionsgate does not understand that animation is not just for kids. Which is exactly why people hated films like Happily N’Ever After, Norm of the North and Alpha & Omega.

Regardless, some highly commercialized & advertised movies do bomb regardless. The MLP movie actually did pretty well I hear.
I mean compare most of Lionsgate’s animated film marketing (especially Shaun the Sheep or Norm of the North) to SpongeBob: Sponge Out of Water’s, Zootopia’s, The Lego Movie’s or The Peanuts Movie’s, and compare of how it money they made.
Also, they don’t hate Stereoscopic 3D like Lionsgate does now.

Why would they have to moderate it? This would make less work for the mods, not more. It’s right there in the comment how legitimate or vapid the downvote was, so there’s no reason for the mods to involve themselves at all. The uploader and/or artist will already know whether they’re being trolled or receiving legitimate feedback, and can ignore the former (or even the latter) if they want to.
But then that would be nearly all of them, and moderating upvotes & downvotes would be too much on the site staff.
But then you know without a doubt that their particular downvote was naught but the meaningless digital flatulence of a brainless twit, or a defused attempt to troll you.
Yeah. But i meant Sony Pictures. Maybe mostly because of CGI or something else more valid than that?
Except Playstation 4 owners perhaps.
That is because people are complaining about Sony these days.
Wasn’t me, it was #E23D that made it sound that way.
I dunno if they did, or not honestly as I’m not really into comic book geek culture. (Aside from TMNT, Bone, & Sonic.)
You make it sound like most people don’t and didn’t
I have hope, I actually enjoy the MCU. I actually enjoyed his appearance in “Civil War.”
@Vinyl Fluff
Indeed, you should see the “intelligent critique” on the Sonic crossovers. (Even the tolerable ones.)
I know this has NOTHING to do with ponies, but it has something to do with Sony.
Also, I love it how you make parodies for the major and mini-major American film studios:
Poniesgate (Lionsgate, which they’re distributing the film), Metro Goldwyn Mare (MGM), Colt Disney (Walt Disney, Hasbro’s BFF since 1954), Mare-amount Pictures (Paramount), etc.
End result would be a bunch of spammy comments however. With things like “dont like”, “blah”, “whatever” and so on.
People are unlikely to give you detailed criticisms.
