Well, someone mistakenly thought that I created the series, so I had to explain what it is, to show that I did not create it.

Didn’t I tell you not to shove the series down the people’s throats? For now it’s more dead than Elvis Presley, and it will be for the next year, two, or however long it’s gonna take me to make my movie. Whatever… the series lost its relevance to a certain extent. People like the actual Equestria Girls now. I think it’s trash, but the general consensus is that it’s harmless and cute. Nobody thinks that Hasbro ruined everything by creating them. That’s why there is no point to bring up the Parody Series anymore. Let it stay irrelevant for the time being.

It was not a cockatrice that turned her to stone, but three deities. You see, her story takes place in another version of Equestria ruled by another god-like being representing Hasbro. Hasbro, one of two creators and rulers of that Equestria (the other being “Overlord Faust”), tried to control Equestria and turn its inhabitants into humanoid puppets.
The three gods then defeated Hasbro and turned him and the Mane Six (which he used to promote his toys) into stone statues. Perhaps by turning Twilight and her friends into statues next to Hasbro, they may eventually break away from his control, and learn to use certain abilities in their dreams that will help them defeat Hasbro in the future.
