Amber’s player always intended her to be kinda abrasive. It just usually goes unnoticed because she looks so huggable with her teddy bear proportions.
 
In her defense though, she did witness how thoroughly useless Night Cap was during the arctic mission. She has reasons to not take him very seriously. Static only briefly met Night Cap last night, so he doesn’t know how to react to him just yet.

Static Signal just decided to throw away the sympathy he was beginning to get from me. And Amber Spark is coming across like a character who is designed to be wrong and tiresome. Like Von Strab being exaggeratedly terrible to make Yarrick look that much more right by the contrast.
