Fun fact: during WWII, resistance forces in occupied China smuggled HMX (a byproduct of RDX manufacture, and itself explosive) in flour. Funner fact: it’s technically non-toxic. Funnest fact: they codenamed it “Aunt Jemima”. No word on whether anyone ever actually did make pancakes or muffins with an explosive taste, but it might actually have been heat-stable enough to work.
